It does, doesn't it?
And I've spent the last month in the past, so that probably explains why I didn't have an Internet connection and why I haven't posted here in over 4 weeks...

Yep. Cataclysim is awesome. Babs being a hero while still in a wheel chair, Batman helping without fighting criminals, etc etc. Its what the DCU should be but now its all gone.

No Man's Land is one of the best Batman sagas I've read. Everything changes, Batman has to readapt to a destroyed Gotham with very different dynamics. besides you get the feeling all the supporting cast and all characters are doing important things. And also there were a lot of great creators involved in this big saga.

Even if you look at this with nostalgic glasses this is just an ok book. Nice art, ok origin story, passable enimies and lots of 90s dialog.

Next... nothing, still waiting on next shipment to arrive

Even better the second time through. Any issues I might have had with the series while being serialized kind of fade away when it's all packaged together and consumed over a couple of days rather than a couple of years. I hope Moore eventually follows through with that sequel he teased a few months back.

Just about finished with...

Hands down, the best OGN of 2012 so far.

Really interesting book, very similar in tone to Rucka's Queen and Country but centering around the assassination of Rasputin. Tyler Crook's art is fantastic and any apprehension I felt over him replacing Guy Davis on BPRD is gone.

I ordered this upon your recommendation. It should get here this week. If it's not good, I'm gonna be very disappointed.

The depth that Urasawa has dug into with some of these characters is immense. The background of the two priests and how they've come to be where they are was a nice parallel to the current story. I could see what was coming at the end, that being said this book continues to be one of the best on the stands, and it will be a sad day when its finished.

Yep.

Still better than Pluto. :D
