Hell, that was better than American Vampire. Snyder is for reals.

More Futaki, pls.

Pointless death aside, not a terrible run by Bendis on Moon Knight.

I really liked Severed. In fact, I reviewed the entire miniseries on my blog.
Futaki is really great, I'd like to see more from this artist.

This is one top 3 "Big 2" events with the better plot, editing and overhaul execution, and this 2nd volume shows just that.

Great setups, good action and character development and it manages to emerge the reader in the AOA Universe very well.

Can't wait to start volume 3.

I re-read these two books recently:

Joe Hill's The Cape

If I had been paying attention when I ordered this I probably would have passed as it's not actually written by Joe Hill. The main premise is a bit worn out, but I hadn't read any press or spoilers beforehand so it was a surprise and the story turned out to be really good.

Baltimore Volume 2: The Curse Bells

Stenbeck is getting sooooooooo good. Loved this.

Probably the best volume so far from invasion. It started slow but has been picking up steam, and with this 3rd volume it is finally a great read.

The chinks in the Vong's armour starts to show, the outer rim planets rebel and organize and a possible new Sith (mad) Lord arises.

Good stuff.

I dropped Invasion after v2, but I might give an issue or two of v3 a try if it's good.

Hill wrote the short story that it's based on, but the comic was adapted/written by Jason Ciaramella.

I'm sure I was praising this to high hell in another thread, but I loved The Cape. The one-shot adapting the story won an Eisner and it's been my favourite mini for a long time.

The first issue of this 3rd volume does a good job on defining the tone and direction of the full arc. Give that one a chance. Whatever opinion you get from that issue, its the same for the arc.

IMHO its the best arc (by far) in the Invasion series.
