I received the hardcover editions of Y: The Last Man Deluxe Edition volumes 4 and 5, Invincible Ultimate Collection volume 7, and Geoff John's Flash Omnibus volume 1. So far I have finished all of them but the Flash Omnibus. Now, I am strongly considering purchasing the second volume of John's Flash.

That's a lot of good stuff !

Not the best fantasy comic out there, but very enjoyable. Planeswalkers, magic, stolen artifacts and swashbuckling is what you're find in this book.

Now, to be honest, I never watched Lost so any reference about it would have been ... lost on me.

Finished Lucifer. As a whole, I have to say I preferred it to Sandman. I know they are two different creatures, but they do have similarities.

Also read the first volume of Scarlet, I was pleasantly surprised. It was solidly mediocre, which places it far above any other Bendis book I have ever read.

Yes I think that helped, the art was excellent.

I was pretty disappointed in this, especially the art, but then it's still better than every other MtG comic by a long way.

I only have issues 1 through 4, though. The HC goes to # 6, right?

The story structure is indeed superior to previous comics, but art wise is miles behind anything that came previously. Its not bad, but its not MTG good.

Nevertheless, I'm going to get the next volume.

I just wish they would involve more concepts derived from the old cards, like the White Knights, Armageddon, Moxes and so on.

A suicide goblin invading force would be brutal.

Weird, most trades or HCs usually have 6. I call it the 6-issue-arc syndrome .

Some bean counter must have figured out 5 was the optimum amount for dollars vs content, I guess. I have been noticing more 5-issue trades. Seems like a lot of the Hellboy/BPRD minis are 5 issues now. The first Fatale trade was 5 issues...

Well, maybe Image and Dark Horse (and Icon for that matter) are not so keen on the 6-issue arc. But DC and Marvel sure are.

TBH Vol 1 wasn't great and the first half of this volume 2 isn't either. The second half is more interesting, but this book never breaks the mediocre line,

Its sad because the Star Wars Universe needs more strong female leads.

Why is it that they don't include the writer or the artist in the cover ?
