This is either one of the best sci-fi comics I've ever read or one of the shitiest. Haven't made up my mind yet.

I liked Sebastian O a lot. It just seemed to go by very quickly. I like Steve Yeowell and Grant Morrison together. Except for Skrull Kill Krew, that shit was dumb.

When was Sebastian O collected into paperback?

I hated Sebastian O
found it trite and trying too hard, same with Kill Your Boyfriend

but, you see hints of Morrison's eventual genius baried in both

Kill Your Boyfriend was dumb. I'm finding that a lot of the Morrison work I read years ago doesn't hold up again.

My comic shop as the 4th volume and I bought all the remaining current issues in order to catch up. Problem is, I am having trouble finding the 3rd volume in the area. If I can't find it soon, I will have to break down and order it.

I lost interest in Prophet pretty quick.

Sebastian O is indeed a little light. Trenchcoat Brigade was very classic Vertigo style, an okay read with some good Constantine in it. Black Orchid reminded me that Neil Gaiman could actually write back in the day--I find his modern prose novels to be boring and overwrought.

I picked up all nine volumes of Preacher which I'll be reading today. They go up for sale afterwards, if anyone wants to make an offer.

It gets better later isn't a very good argument I know, but it does. At first it was a bit off putting, but then it got interesting.

About to finish Elephentmen Vol 1
interesting read, I like what it is setting up, but I am hoping for a more cohesive story in future volumes
