Reading New Avengers: Everything Dies. Exposition was a little talking heady -I wish Marvel would let Hickman implement his script style for that kind of stuff, but once Beast shows up it became awesome.

That was spectacular. Solid book. Epting was great even if Tony looked a little weird. Also when does he get the Fu Manchu armor?

All-Star Western vols 1&2 - I can't say how much I am annoyed by the fact that none of this happens in the west. Gotham feels Victorian and New Orleans was kind of neutral in terms of geographic feel. Moritat, who got me hooked on Elephantmen, his work is so yucky and rushed. It feels ink/black heavy and doesn't look nearly as good as it should. With that said, the concept is awesome, the reverse Holmes/Watson dichotomy of Hex and Arkham is awesome and the whole history of Gotham is ridiculously good. Fuck the backup features though. Waste of time.

Finished Hawkguy vol. 2 this weekend.
Utterly fantastic.
This page may be one of the best I've seen in a rather long time:

Finished reading Hawkeye Vol 1: My Life as a Weapon. Great book. Love the Criminal/Parker meets superhero feel. I hope fools that have read it and dug it and not read the Brubaker or Cooke stuff that so obviously inspires it check that stuff out.

Yeah, the HC includes issues 1-11.
There isn't much spoilers there, though.

Speaking of which, once the holidays are over and things have calmed down I think that I will read Incognito. Been wanting to check that series out for awhile now.
