Grayson wrote:Oh! I have a little bit of a grievance that I want to air. My fiancée ordered the Uncanny X-Force Omnibus and the second volume of the Fear Agent Library Edition for me for Valentine's Day this year. Last week, we received an e-mail notifying us that the release date for the UXF Omnibus had been pushed back to March 25th, 2014. I was annoyed but I understand that this type of stuff can happen. So, I was into my LCS this week to pick up my comics for the week and what do I happen to see sitting on the "New This Week" shelf? Why the Uncanny X-Force Omnibus of course! However, when we logged on to our Amazon account later that day, it still claimed that the release date was March 25th and that we would receive the book on March 28th.

Fuck you Amazon. Fuck. You.

:P

That's normal. Amazon usually gets and ships books from Diamond about two to three weeks later. You didn't cancel, did you?

Which reminds me: I need to order that Fear Agent.

I am looking to pick up a new book and can't decide between the Planetary Omnibus and The Sixth Gun Deluxe Vol 1. What does everyone recommend?

Thanks for the link. I love that Comic books prove to be popular study material at University of Calgary article and I agree with professor Beaty about TWD.

If you find out they offer scholorships for foreign students, just let me know!

Well, I read the review (great job by the way) and I left a review but now that review doesn't appear to be showing up under the comments section. I don't know what's going on but let me know if I need to write another comment because I may have screwed something up. :?

But I'm impatient and I want it now!!! :x

You didn't cancel, did you?

God no. I mean, I am annoyed that I have to wait until the end of the month but not annoyed enough that I want to go through all the hassle of dealing with Amazon's customer service department. Besides, I still have one or two things that I can read until the end of the month, so I'll just be patient... :-(

Which reminds me: I need to order that Fear Agent.

Fourthed! The Sixth Gun is a fantastic series and I would highly recommend it to anybody who hasn't read it. However, you will get more bang for your buck by going with the Planetary Omnibus.

Thank you! I replied to your comment. So unless you posted 2 comments and 1 isn't showing I'd say everything's OK.

Now I'm trying to decide which title should I review next...

Amazon's customer service is decent. I returned two watches no hassles, no questions asked, plus a while back I ordered something for a friend and chose 1-day shipping. It took two days to get there so I got my shipping refunded. You could have probably just cancelled the book on the site without dealing with customer service. Don't though.

Amazon has reimbursed me a couple of times, and I've never had to return anything to them.
