Great googly moogly. That's what, the first 50 issues or so? Is that the thickest collection ever made?

#1-48. The first 8 trades, I believe.

And, no. There are several of these compendiums out now. Off the top of my head: Rising Stars, Witchblade, The Darkness.

I have the Rising Stars one also, but haven't gotten to it yet.

You'd think they'd be pretty flimsy, with 1000+ pages and paperback, but the WD one, at least, is more durable than most regular-sized trades out these days, to be honest.

37.79 at amazon for the WD compendium.

I might have to pick it up and give the book a try.

don't forget the Bone One Volume, a virtually indestructible book.
And contains 55 issues.

Just finished:

Immortal iron fist is always a great read, this volume was a little jumpy thanks to the one-shots. I don't know what I'll do if this series doesn't come back after the one-shots.

Wondermark is becoming a favorite, its a great book to just sit down and enjoy at any time.

The one shots are killing Iron Fist.

That volume was the weakest yet, because of them.

The one shots have been some of my favorite stories. I wish there were more of them. :P

They should just put out two books..

You can have the one shots with the shitty artists and bad stories.

I'll take the main story.

The one-shots are probably only annoying in trade, they are spaced out pretty well if you buy the regular issues.

Anything that breaks up the main story is annoying. Regardless of what format you read it in.

But most of the one-shots have served to augment the main story, like the '...And The Green Mist of Death' one-shot told us a lot about the Prince Of Orphans.

I don't care. I like the immortal weapons, but I don't really care about devoting the book to them.
