Nope, just a trade paperback.

Also, where the fuck are you buying your shit from?

I've had them fall out of books but they're still on the wax back paper.

I bought this particular trade from my LCS. They usually have a pretty nice section of half-priced trades and hardcovers but most of them are books that were resold or traded by other customers. Never had this problem before, I think I am just having an unlucky streak when it comes to graphic novels. :|

Barnes and Noble loves to stick those things to pages.

So people don't steal.

You probably got a book someone bought at a store like B&N.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why a retailer would place the tag on a cover. I hate it but I get it. The problem that I am having with this particular instance is the fact that the tag was placed roughly a third of the way into the book arbitrarily on one of the pages covering up a good portion of the dialogue. I don't know, maybe I am overreacting but it completely took me by surprise.

Person placing the tag was being a troll.

I usually flip through used books to see if there are any missing pages or if it smells like cigarette smoke or something horrible.

Well, I'll be a little more careful when picking out used books from now on.

And yeah, that old cigarette smell is the worst.

I got in the Infinity Gauntlet omnibus yesterday. I was looking to learn more about the Silver Surfer and figured this would be a good opportunity.

I started on this a few weeks ago (digital, not the omnibus version) as I kinda felt like I should probably read it at some stage. Definitely different to what I expected, but I don't see how the ending could be at all satisfying.

Terry and the Pirates vol 1 by Milton Caniff. Good stuff, it's fun to see the development and improvement of one of America's great cartoonists.
Doomed planet. Desperate scientists. Last hope. Kindly couple.

Daredevil Volume 4 - Whoa, that took a crazy turn!

Four volumes in and Mark Waid's run is easily one of my favorite Daredevil runs of all time.

This was pretty good story-wise, with excellent art.
