At it's best, this is a so-so read with.....different ideas. At worst, it offers nothing substantial for the gut. There's too little emotionally for me to want more of these characters.

I've been reading Death or Glory and wanted some more Bengal goodness. It's a beautiful looking hardcover. The story of an assassin who feels nothing, (pain and emotions) who is targeted by another assassin in her own organization, isn't bad either.

Prepping my Watchmen unit (or pretending to), rereading LoEG, and reading Essex County for the first time.

I backed this on Kickstarter and it was delivered two years late. It actually got to backers later than people could buy it at Amazon. The art rewards still haven't been completed for some people. I guess they were too busy in the two years with all the sketches and commissions they were doing at conventions. The poster that was supppsed to come signed was of course not signed and the extra non-story content was never added to the book. I don't know why Dynamite was needed as a publisher after collecting nearly 34k on Kickstarter. I never would have backed it if I knew they would later pickup a publisher for the book.

The story itself feels rushed. It's hard to tell a complete story in just 90 pages. Some of it feels very juvenile like a 90's Image comic. The art looks good and the oversized format really helps it.
