Hear what people are saying about us!

As you're surely aware by now, our site refocus is in full swing. While you can still expect to see the same great reviews, features, podcasts and more on the front page, our news is...a bit different.

Not too long ago, we came to a realization that we were taking this news thing far too seriously and decided to aggressively revamp our news coverage to feature liberal amounts of snark and humor. Press releases, while an important part of the industry, are often drier than a desert and rarely brought the traffic that our original content received.

This came to a head last week when Image publisher Eric Stephenson said that comic sites should feature "more unique and original content" and less "copy and pasting". So, beginning on Wednesday, Jude and ThanosCopter began to present the news in their own unique fashion, resulting in a groundswell of hits, the lifeblood of the site.

It's also got a few people talking about us. Let's see what they have to say.

I think these articles could tone down the snarkiness a little. I get the OH is trying to go the Deadspin route, but it might help to keep it in check.
