I'm not sure there is any official last issue been announced yet but I would not be surprised when it goes to the AoA / X-Men limited series whatever the last issue was of the main book would be the cut point.

Also keep in mind Marvel rarely will put Final Issue in the solicitations, unlike D.C., since in a business perspective they could loose more orders with that label.

I think #11 is the last issue, then there's the 2-part X-Men crossover mini. After this, it's going to be a back up feature in Incredible Hercules during the 'Assault on New Olympus' storyline, and then be relaunched.

I hope the relaunched is closer in feeling to the original mini-series than first ongoing which tied right out of the gate to dark reign. I liked the ongoing but it was missing that something special that made the mini so enjoyable.

Oh yeah I also hope Marvel knows what they are doing by pushing a relaunch so close to the cancellation of the previous run (at Most 'Assault on New Olympus' is going to be three months?). Exiles comes to mind in a similar situation and Marvel killed that book after six issues of the relaunch.

Well that sucks. Can we at least get a consistent art team on this book? It seemed there wasn't an artist on that book that could do two full issues in a row, and it deserves better.

I've loved the addition of Temugin.

I didn't know it was getting cancelled. :( And I don't like the idea of having to buy Herc just to keep reading. It's better than nothing I guess. They should just do minis.

This.

I do not think this book is strong enough to ever keep an ongoing so why waste everyone's time with relaunches. I like the idea of the back up on Herc and I would be happy to buy a mini every once in a while.

I disagree, I think it's one of Marvel's best non-Cosmic titles.

I've really been surprised how much I've enjoyed it so far.

Let me rephrase myself... this comics following is not strong enough to warrant an ongoing... and I fear it will always be a fringe book that will always have a cloud of cancellation over it no matter how many relaunches. I do like this book, I am just being realistic. I would rather enjoy an occasional mini and back ups than a series cut short due to low sales.

Though I do believe the current ongoing stumbled out of the gate with good idea but I feel aliented past fans who enjoyed the limited series and felt it tied to much into Dark Reign than letting it stand on its own like the original mini-series did.

As much as I enjoy AoA I think its continuation survival lies within mini-series. Look at Marvel Zombie's there has been four series and many one-shots, I do not see why Marvel does not take that same approach.
