Another question will be that whenever Didio leaves and the New 52 gets retconned at some point down the line will anybody actually remember or care about this new reveal?

My only hope is that this character becomes a Batwoman rather than that shitty gay character currently in Teen Titans. I think I'm more likely to win the lottery without entering it though.

yes lets have the big dog be the gay character, and then he can marry Bunker from Teen Titans and the right wing would have a field day...since they already think that if you allow gays to marry the next thing that'll happen is you could marry an animal..

Probably not. They showed an Atom in the DC FCBD and she was female.

And Alan Scott has already debuted in the comics but that doesn't stop anyone from thinking it's him even though they specifically state the character hasn't debuted yet.

Or all the folks that think anyone even knows who the hell Wally West is outside of a comic shop. The Flash, yes. Wally West, no.
