Doesn't count. In the Ultimate Continuity, it's possible Thor's Hammer has no important limit on who can lift it. :)

No, it happened in mainstream continuity. I just couldn't tell you when. I want to say with was something like Secret Wars or Contest of Champions or something like that. Can't say for sure. It was a while ago.

Didn't happen in Secret Wars or Contest of Champions. Gotta do better than that.

Wonder Woman. She's a classically trained warrior. She's nearly as strong as Superman. And she's maybe the smartest of all those listed...certainly more than Herc and the Hulk. If she couldn't out-muscle an opponnent, she'd out-think them.

And of course she wears a freaking bathing suit. That's got to get her enough distraction points to beat the others.

And she's from the DC universe...which has higher power levels than the Marvel U. Superman beat Thor to a pulp, and WW could take Superman if she had to. And had Batman's help.

Wonder Woman did take down the entire JLA in "A League of One."

Men may joke about it, but, honestly, someone here tell me that the idea of a woman that is not only trained to kill you, but can do so by dropping a bus on you isn't, at some level, terrifying. Far more so than having to go up against another guy.

That sword of hers can slice through atoms and cut Superman (magic.) I may want to change my vote.

Hulk lifted Mjolnir in the Incredible Hulk #255....but when he did it became Donald Blake's walking stick.

I'm right and I'm wrong. C'est la vie.

Well, Wonder Woman lifted Mjolnir up too...

See, it's Wonder Woman all the way. Although I guess to be fair, the poll does say hand-hand combat. I'd still give Diana the edge, though.

It says hand to Hand, but lists weapons.

I might have that issue. I'll check it out. Till then, enjoy the gimp suit.
