I think she faded into the background after Superman #200. The last time she popped up was in Loeb/McGuiness's final Superman/Batman arc.

Not to mention that 411 issue #3 was scrapped because of something controversial, and he was involved in the book (maybe the controversial part, too?).

Kevin Smith is the anti-comic fan. He shits on fans, IMO, by his not following through on projects. He was the original writer of the new Brave and Bold, no?
Or Spider-Man/Black Cat.

And I don't know if he ever actually pitched for B&B, but he did joke about wanting to team Batman up with Haunted Tank.

But I'm with you on Kevin Smith. Won't buy any books from him because you can't count on him to take them seriously.

At least they didn't kill her just to get rid of her. I know nothing of the character but I like her look, reminds me of Power Girl.

I'll have to reread the issues, but I think she was a possible future daughter of Superman and Lois Lane. Her name was Cir-El.

They retconned that. See Wiki for details.

That's the one I'm familiar with, it was in the ten cent issue I think.

I'm very interested to see what Zod was talking about when he mentioned some sort of secret weapon in the negative zone.
i thought he meant that there are worse prisoners than him in the phantom zone instead of some sort of secret weapon.

zod was finally handled well though, after the eurpoean human zod and the one in austen's run i thought no one could ever pull off a decent zod.

Yeah, he definitely seemed to refer to a person rather than a thing.

I'm just curious who that is. It seemed like it's somebody Superman fans should know already.

I feel like Doomsday would be too obvious.

Perhaps it's Brainiac. He's in the next big arc, as I recall...

I get the sense it's more of a long-term story Geoff Johns is planning

But I'm eagerly looking forward to the Brainiac story.

Geoff Johns' Action Comics has been seriously cool. That guy's just amazing.
