If you could erase one story arc...

Postby BubbaKanoosh » Sat May 19, 2012 8:17 pm

...from any one character/team, which one would you erase?

And not an entire run, but a story arc for a character.

Probably that Dark Avengers/X-Men crossover. That just put the X-books in a corner.

My instinct was to say Spidey's Clone Saga, but it's been so long and so many other lousy stories have come along that I'm not sure anymore. Besides, there's something to be said for being the measuring stick by which all badness is measured.

Perhaps Cry for Justice, but I guess it really doesn't matter any more either what with the DC reboot.

Hmm, probably Civil War. I still can't look at Reed the same way after that crap.

Starlord: I swear if you were gay and I wasn't married we'd make the perfect fuck buddies.

Greg: I'd do many things. Coke is not one of them.
Benderbrau: Greg hates all things white.

Benderbrau: Emma, you could learn a thing or two from Greg. Greg does threesomes. That's bi done right.

Avengers Disassembled which helped lead to all the crap that followed like Civil War.

Flashpoint, to keep the new 52 from being at all.

The present Glory comic. I liked what Alan Moore was doing better then the crapfest that title is now.

That would be a good one to wipe out. Iron Kid sucked.

Identity Crisis. Thus the Didio Era NEVER happens and we're better off.

I would erase Sins Past from the Spider-books so the torture porn of Gwen and Norman screwing is burned out of existence along with the Stacey Twins.

We could only be so lucky if that actually happened.

This thread should be changed to being about keeping certain folks off of certain titles or running certain companies.

I would erase JMS's Sins of the Past. I still think he turned Gwen Stacy into a whore.
