I'm shocked. :P It'll probably be a fun story, at the very least.

Why compare this to 2099? 2099 was a flop while Ultimate Marvel has been a commercial success.

As for the Quesada quote, there was no Miles Morales then...he was talking about alternate Peter Parker's meeting. Miles is a new character.

Just sayin'. (Here are the two sources, by the way -- first quote, second quote.)

Quesada is the one that came up with the idea.

Geez, couldn't the artist have even tried to make them look different? One's a 15 year old kid and the other is a grown adult. They shouldn't have the same physique.

Looks like Bagley on the art and to me, Miles looks like a kid compared to Peter there.

It's the heads I think. They both have heads too large in relation to their bodies IMO. Something common in kids, not adults.

Bagley started doing that with Spidey back when he started Ultimate Spider-Man. Seems to have fallen into that habit.

I think it's mask lens that make their heads seem larger perhaps. They otherwise seem okay.

If it was Liefeld drawing it, their heads could fit in their fists and we'd never see their feet.

Eh...sounds like a fun concept to me. Not really caring what anyone said in 2005 at this point.

I'm hoping for a Miguel O'Hara cameo.
