I kind of like see garment construction lines, like the ones on PG's costume pre-boot.

Exactly! Superman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Batman, etc. all have arbitrary lines running all over their costumes for absolutely no reason whatsoever. The designs for the costumes in the DCnU are just awful and I feel terrible for the guys who will eventually have to come in and clean up this mess.

Arbitrary lines on costumes are the new pouches, shoulder pads, and/or face tattoos. They are absolutely ridiculous and they look terrible.
