Yeah that's exactly what I am thinking too although I don't think he lost his eye but that was just some shading to make him look scary on the right side of his face, seeing as how he doesn't have an eye patch or a visible scar present. A bigger question thouugh is for a guy who was a fashion designer why can't he see how ridiculous he currently looks in that Tarantula ripoff of a costume?

I think that's the point, so no one makes the distinction between him and the Hobgoblin by hijacking yet another villain gimmick =/

It won't happen...but if that transport to America were to get blown out of the sky once it reached cruising altitude, that would bring the LULZ here.

It would be even funnier if that exploding plane dropped on Phil, Norah, Carlie Cooper, Alpha, the Stacey Twins, Menace and Ana Kravinoff as that would be a fitting end to some shitty characters in the spider-books.

Great minds...that's exactly what I was thinking of but stopped short of saying before. I was thinking the transport explodes over an ocean. We then see him swimming within view of land, only to see a shark about to eat him. The next issue, we see that he's been rescued by an oil tanker and has had one of his legs reduced to a stump by the shark...and then the tanker blows up. Etc etc etc.

Actually Kingsley would escape and then go to New York and then feed Phil to that shark. Afterwards, he would then throw Norah into the ocean as an appetizer for the beast.

Agreed. The Devil Spider thing looks so dumb and I hope it's forgotten about very quickly. I kind of expected the Tarantula to show up and sue Kingsley for copyright infringement in Ecuador.
