The identity of the current Ronin was revealed at the end of this issue. I've been able to avoid the spoilers that were out there on line about this revelation and I'm happy that I accomplished this. It turns out that it's Blade. I love Blade, he's one of my favourite characters, so I'm happy about this mostly. However, Ronin was shown being comfortable around the supernatural, and that's not something that's really the case with Blade, or at least it hasn't been in the past. In the end though, despite my reservations about some aspects of his depiction, I'm happy to have a series in which I can read stories featuring him.
As for the rest of this issue, it's such a great series. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the Doc Brashear flashbacks. I want to see some stories featuring the Atomic Skeletons of Paris.
The interaction between the Blue Marvel and his son as they debated what to do about Kevin was all good. If this series survives any length of time, I'm sure we'll see Dr. Positron again.
