It was definitely amusing, I loved the Star-Lord cameos.

I really enjoyed the Star Lord and Rocket Raccoon comics. They were both better than the Guardians of the Galaxy book has been lately.

Despite the over-done sci-fi cliche of 'the last of their race' discovering another last of their race', this was a decent issue. More obvious with the humour than Star-Lord, but it's clear that Marvel are looking to move the GotG characters into a less serious sphere than, say, Avengers.

Holy crap, it's Rocket Raccoon vs. his evil exes!

In all seriousness, if the first issue is any indication of what to expect from this series than I'm definitely sticking around for awhile. Honestly, this was just a really fun comic.

I really didn't dig it. I liked that art but that's it. Didn't even try the Star-Lord book.

I think Bendis killed the Gaurdians for me.
