From what I read at IGN disappointing. They say weaker than v1.
According to Prozac it is a rental. He says fun but too short.
Its a bit of a toss up. I looovveedd it. The gameplay is
perfect, and is so much more refined from the first one. I find the gameplay to be much more enjoyable than something like God of War. The voice acting is incredible. There are some phenomenal set pieces, and some of the most interesting star wars moments in recent history.
There isn't much cooler than piloting a half-destroyed Rebel Medical Frigate through a debris field, and through the atmosphere, in flames, into Tipocia City, blowing up the cloning facilities.
The downside is the fact that they took out all the combo building and combo lists, and give you all physical attacks from the get-go. The game is also so short, it hurts.
The biggest problem for me is the story.
The first game had one of the coolest Star Wars stories i had heard in a while, but this one is just lacking.
The game takes you out of Starkiller's mind, and is really a lot less personal and emotional than i expected. He really needed more speaking parts, or something to flesh out his personal story, which is the ONLY thing this game is about. So at that, it fails. One of the best things about the first game is that it so beautifully tied into the Star Wars we know, bringing in familiar locations and fanservice. There is literally none of that in this game. Boba Fett shows up for one minute, and Yoda has two lines. They literally do nothing. The outcome of the game, whether you choose dark side or light side, is inconsequential and has no real resolution to the clone storyline, just kind of leaves it ambiguous as the beginning.
