Since when has Ron Garney been on the FF? He's fantastic. I hope he returns to ASM one day.

Thanks for the info. Won't read the book, but awfully tempted because of the art.

WTF? I thought the FF were all a bunch of sadistic Nazi's?

No, Garney's first issue was #605 and it was awesome.

Go buy it!

How's the writing? I have loathed most of Hickman's work. That's why I hesitate now.

#605 was probably his best issue, he turned it around after a mega-arc that was very hit-and-miss and full of the usual Hickman bullshit. I haven't read this week's #605.1 though

605.1 was something we've already seen done better in Planetary and about 6 other books.

Agreed.

The letter column stated that was the story he always wanted to tell.

He should have kept it untold - especially as an introductory 'point one' issue. Maybe it was assistant editors month and they forgot to tell anyone.

Your getting them confused with The Four from Planetary. (Though in those suits that's not surprising)

There was another preview that showed another the "FF" as Nazis during WW II for Fantastic Four 605.1.

Translation:

If you read at the 5th grade level you can understand it

I don't really think this story is about a Nazi Fantastic Four (a'la Planetary) imo it's really going to be more of a preamble to see what's going on with Doom and his new situation.
