Yeah the artwork is very nice. Won't make me consider buying anything JL-related, however. I'm done with that stuff.

Same here, I was happy when Justice League Dark was part of the Dark line of books DC had going at first. Since they moved JLD into the Justice League books I've been forced to buy too many other books that I don't really want to buy.

Does anyone think that the Del Toro film idea for this will ever get made out of curiousity?

It seems to be moving forward, so It's still a possibility.

I wonder if that will come out before or after the proposed JL film though?

Conceptually, it would seem odd to me for them to put out a film called "Justice League -- Dark" before putting out the parent film, "Justice League."

You don't have to buy any of the other books to really understand what's going on in JLD. I grant you that with Trinity War it helped, but even then you could get along well without the others.

If a mystic scalpel can't convince you, then I just don't know what else they can do.

Maybe so, but in the second month the story didn't end in JLD. At the very least there was one extras issue being forced on JLD readers if they wanted to see how things ended.

Well like I said, you couldn't have gotten along well without reading that extra issue. :smt102

#23 leads perfectly fine into #24, and #25 perfectly explains what's going on. You didn't need the other non JLD issues to get the storyline.

I disagree and in the end the overall stories since the switch from the Dark line to the Justice League line have just not been interesting to me at all.

There's nothing to disagree with but oh well. If you say you don't like it, you don't like it. But the other non-JLD stories weren't essential to reading JLD.

Actually it would be very easy to get me to start reading JL again: Stop all the damn sales-gimmick crossover crap and just do good, internally consistent, character-driven stories.

Yeah, not going to hold my breath.
