ImageWe have our first Herald and a couple of X-femme Fatales!

125. Tyrant (24 points)

Oh 90's Ron Lim, how I miss thee. Next on the list is Galactus' Imagebaby boy, with conflicting ambitions. Tyrant was created by Galactus eons ago, yet their conflicting styles tore them apart. Galactus is a minimalist, doing his best to survive, knowing that if he feasts on the universe, he'll soon starve to death. Tyrant, on the other hand, simply lived for bloody war after bloody war, to fuel any conquest. Galactus soon learned of Tyrant's wars, and found them a gross violation of the powers that Galactus had trusted to him. This caused a battle of epic proportions, and the master, Galactus, won.

Tyrant was both exiled, and deprived of his powers of being a Herald of Galactus. He was still a powerful being, just not able to single-handedly take on planets anymore. Once Tyrant kidnapped a variety of different space-faring heroes and villains in order to use their combined powers to enhance himself. These kidnapped beings included Silver Surfer, Terrax, Morg, Beta Ray Bill, Gladiator, Captain Marvel, Jack Of Hearts, and Ganymede. Jack of Hearts, the last of the beings to have been captured, managed to destroy his containment unit before he could be placed into it, rendering him unconscious for the remainder of the following battle but allowing the others to go free. Tyrant defeated all of them, appearing to "toy" with them in the process.

At the conflicts conclusion, Galactus himself arrived, looking for Morg, his current herald. Galactus' arrival disrupted the battle so Tyrant made the decision to offer all the others' freedom to Galactus in exchange for Morg. Galactus reluctantly accepted Tyrant's offer.

Thanos, needing to prove himself, teamed up with the likes of Terrax, Ganymede and Captain Marvel. After the battle started, Thanos drifted away through Tyrant's fortress, and learned of Tyrant's past, of being Galactus' herald.

Allies defeated, Thanos approached Tyrant, and challenged him to a duel. Using one of Tyrant's power orbs, Thanos was barely able to sustain the battle, yet had to soon teleport away, having obtained the power orb he sought and proving he can stand against Tyrant. Tyrant was later destroyed when Morg used the Ultimate Nullifier on Galactus' ship killing everyone aboard it.

124. Selene (24 points)

Selene's origin is aImages yet unrevealed, but she is known to have lived for several millennia, and to have been a foe of the ancient sorcerer, Kulan Gath. In past ages, she was renowned as a sorceress whose power was feared and respected by other magic users. She eventually came to live in the ancient Roman Republic. At some point, Selene established herself as a goddess to those who would worship her. Over the millennia, her worshippers grew into a worldwide cult.

For unknown reasons, Selene led many to believe she had accompanied a large number of Roman citizens who fled the first century B.C. Italy and sailed to the New World, where they founded Nova Roma in a hidden section of the Amazon jungle in present-day Brazil. These Nova Romans supposedly lived there for roughly two thousand years, and was supposedly where Selene first founded her Cult of Fire as its Black Priestess. However, it has been since revealed that Nova Roma was a massive illusion maintained by Selene and her minion, the mutant known as Empath, to hold its citizens (in reality, kidnapped British and American tourists, including the mutant known as Magma) captive. This deception was eventually revealed by the mutant heroes of the New Warriors and X-Force.

Prior to this revelation, however, Selene posed as the wife to Nova Roma Senator Marcus Domitius Gallo, whose plot to abolish the republican Nova Roman government led to her first encounter with the mutant teens of the New Mutants.

Selene soon after traveled to New York, where members of her worldwide cult had a church. The leader of the cult, Friedrich von Roehm, was also a member of the Hellfire Club, an elite group secretly dedicated to achieving world domination. With Von Roehm's help, Selene entered the Inner Circle of the Club and rapidly rose to the high rank of Black Queen.

124. Spiral (24 points - 2 first place slots)

Ricochet Rita was a very well known stuntwoman in Hollywood. When LongImageshot first came to Earth she befriended him and the pair eventually began dating. She was attacked by her future self when she attempted to help him return home. Mojo kidnapped Rita and held prisoner while all of Longshot’s memories of Rita were erased. After several years of forced servitude to Mojo guarding the X-Babies, Rita was taken to the Body Shoppe. The transformation by Arize left her with six arms, both cybernetic and organic, teleportation abilities and knowledge of the dark arts. While in the Body Shoppe she also learned the body modification skills that were used on her. Rita’s transformation into Spiral drove her insane. Spiral was then sent into the past by Mojo to attack Longshot and her past self, setting into motion the events that made her Spiral.

Spiral is an accomplished swordswoman, she carries two swords of an unknown metal and numerous other weapons. Her transformation in the Body Shoppe has granted her enhanced strength, speed and reflexes. She has considerable knowledge in the fields of cybernetics and genetics. Her magical abilities allow her to teleport, become invisible, stun or paralyze other people and remove superhuman abilities. Spiral casts many of her spells by dancing or using her swords, the more complicated the spell the more elaborate her dance is. Her immunity to some types of possession may stem from her magical abilities but that has not been revealed. She has a genius-level intellect.
