Tony Mourlet (DeadFett): This issue of New Avengers featured the Sentry dwelling on the events of Civil War. He decides to visit the Moon to clear his head and figure out where he stands in the conflict. What were your thoughts on this issue, Trachman?Â

Trachman: Bendis-talking, you love it or you hate it. I like it most of the time when it’s Ultimate Spider-Man! Sentry is a whiney 17-year old, um no. But it was damn close to sounding like it. And it wasn’t really clear why he choose the side he did. I like the Inhumans, so that was one saving grace. They’re pretty hard to screw up.

Tony: Like you, I really enjoyed the Inhumans’ appearance here. It felt forced but I liked it. The Sentry does come off like a whiny kid but I think it works as far as what we know about the charcater. I feel the Sentry has a lot of potential. A writer can do so many things with him. He’s a character with a past that is mostly unknown to everyone. A writer, much like Bendis did in this issue, can fill in the missing years of the Sentry and make it work. In this issue we get a glimpse of a time when the Sentry fought side by side with The Inhumans as well as a previous relationship with Crystal. Another thing I really enjoyed in this issue was the appearance of Iron Man. For the first time since Civil War started he wasn’t portrayed as a manipulative jerk. How did you feel about the art Trachman?

Trachman: I really enjoyed Ferry’s work here. His character designs are really what impressed me the most. His Inhumans were great and he conveyed them very well. If Marvel wants to do a Inhumans book, Ferry is their man. Sentry’s face reflecting in Iron Man’s mask was probably my favorite part.

Tony: I loved the art in this issue. Pasqual Ferry is quickly becoming one of my favorites. His characters are top notch and his backgrounds and layouts are great also. And I agree with you, seeing the Sentry’s reflection in Iron Man’s helmet was a great touch. I’d also like to say that the colorist, Dean White, did a phenomenal job as well.
