103. Jean Loring (11 points - 1 first place slot)

Jean Loring was Ray Palmer aka The Atom's wife and later on ex-wife. She later suffers a mental breakdown and murders Sue Dibny and while in incarceration she becomes the new host for Eclipso.

I want to make it clear, that the people specifically voted for her and not her as Eclipso, who appears later down on the list. She got a first place vote and a last place vote. Feel free to discuss how Jean here, along with the rest of Identity Crisis, raped your childhood characters.

102. Knockout (12 points) Image

The powerful super-villainess Knockout began her life on the nightmare world, Apokolips. From a young age she was trained in the harsh orphanage of Granny Goodness to become one of Darkseid's Female Furies. Her frequent impudence displeased Granny and she was punished by being chained up in Armagetto.

After Big Barda escaped the Furies, Knockout was also inspired to leave. During yet more punishment for her disrespect, Knockout freed herself and traveled via boom tube to Hawaii, Earth.

She used her beauty to become a stripper. Later she relied on her brawn to battle Superboy as a costumed villainess. Enamored by her, Superboy attempted to reform her. However, she was imprisoned for killing a police officer while fighting the Female Furies with Superboy and Dubbilex. She soon escaped, of course, and enjoyed complicating Superboy's life, calling him "pup". Eventually, Superboy managed to bring her into custody.

During the events leading up to "Infinite Crisis", Knockout infiltrated the Secret Society of Super Villains. After her deception was revealed, she joined the Secret Six officially to be with her lover, Scandal Savage. After losing a fight with Big Barda, Kay stormed out of the apartment she was staying in with Scandal, and ran afoul of the mysterious individual who has been hunting New Gods. Kay knew she was doomed, and only wanted to call Scandal to say goodbye. Her assailant did not let her make the call.

101. Mr. Whisper (12 points)

Mr. Whisper was said to be an ancient monk who sold his soul to the devil in exchange for eternal life, and an immortal would likely make a very formidable villain. In the comic Batman: Gothic, the shadowless Mr. Whisper runs amuck in Gotham, slaying numerous mob bosses in an attempt to win back his soul. Batman repeatedly does battle with Whisper, but it's especially tough to defeat someone who's death-resistant when you've taken a vow not to kill.

His one and only appearance in Batman: Gothic, but the fact that he survives falls from skyscrapers and head-on collisions with trains make him a villain that can pop up anywhere and anytime, but alas, he has not.
