Haven: Special Halloween Episode Airing Tonight (10/26)

Haven gets especially haunted tonight with its Halloween episode titled, "Real Estate." Bonus Two-part documentary after jump.

Tonight (10/26), hit mystery series Haven becomes part of Syfy's 31 Days of Halloween with an especially haunting holiday episode titled, "Real Estate." Directed by Jason Priestley, this perilous story takes place in Haven's most infamously haunted house which just happens to be a truly haunted location that the production was warned not to film on. In a recent interview I participated in with the series' three leads Eric Balfour confided, "Apparently the cast of Ghost Hunters International - another Syfy show - wouldn’t even come to this house because they were too afraid." Lucas Bryant confirmed, "It was definitely a creepy, claustrophobic joint, and, we did get a visit from the local paranormal society trying to warn us off shooting there." On wrapping this episode Emily Rose confessed, "We were really happy to get out of that creepy house." (read the complete Q&A from which the above quotes were drawn here).

Trapped in the haunted house throughout this murderous tale are Audrey (Emily Rose), Nathan (Lucas Bryant) and Duke (Eric Balfour) joined by officer Tommy Bowen (Dorian Missick), beautifully untouchable Jordan McKee (Kate Kelton) and sexy vampire slaying therapist Claire Callahan (Bree Williamson). Renowned thespian Iain Glen (Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey) guest stars as the gang's dangerously troubled tormentor Roland Holloway, while, the Teagues and Dwight (played by Adam 'Edge' Copeland) work to free them all from outside the supernatural structure. Secrets are uncovered and hidden truths revealed in tonight's frightening Halloween episode airing @ 10/9c only on Syfy.

Enhance your Haven experience by following cast members on twitter and by accessing Syfy's Xbox App which delivers exlusive content for Xbox LIVE GOLD subscribers. Check-in at GetGlue while watching tonight's broadcast, and, take a few minutes to watch both parts of the whimsically unusual and "inconsequential" documentary about the filming of the episode below. The photographs from "Real Estate" feautured (below) were all taken by Michael Tompkins for Syfy.

Pretty decent episode. Reminded a bit of the "Cube" movies except without all the gore. :smt023
