Count Vertigo to Appear on Arrow

The villain will have ties to a drug named Vertigo.

Source: TV Line

Another week, another baddie for Arrow to murder beat.  TV Line has revealed that Count Vertigo will be appearing on an episode of Arrow, which will air in early 2013.  According to the report, Vertigo will be completely reimagined and will likely have a new name in the show.  His storyline will be tied to a new drug being consumed by all the hip young'uns in Starling City named Vertigo.  However, the character's ability to disorient foes and cause vertigo will remain intact.

TVLine is hinting that the villain will be Oliver Queen's toughest to date, leading some sources to speculate that he might be the "big bad" of the season.  So what do you think of the news?  Who would you cast in the role?  Let us know in the comments!

Ugh. I really think this show is trying to piss comic fans off. At least Smallville tried to stay true to the mythos.

Just because I don't know how to spell the language of some tiny African nation doesn't mean that I'm wrong in thinking that your attitude towards women is 100% wrong. Obviously, you're some skinny, single nerd living on the East Coast who probably derives value in life from wrestling matches, hoping that Wolverine gets to sleep with teenagers and engaging in casual drug use. You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.

I'm glad that Smallville stuck to Deadshot's western roots.

"Smallville" gave us:

A brunette Lana Lang
A non-brunette Lois Lane
A black Pete Ross
An Irish Setter Krypto
A Jor-El that was a dick
A Black Canary that's never seen the inside of a gym
A Darkseid that was "Lost's" smoke monster
A super-hot Doomsday that was Zod's son

etc etc etc
