Geek Girl’s Holiday Shopping Cheat Sheet For The Geek Guy

A few things to inspire the geek guy figuring out what to buy his lady. On Dasher! On Dancer! On Visa! On Mastercard!

Happy Black Friday Outhousers!  With the holiday season officially in full swing (and for some places since the day after Halloween), everyone is getting asked what they want for Christmas.  Who are these responsible people who actually do their shopping before Christmas Eve anyway?  As one of the normal people who lay somewhere between the Black Friday shoppers and my Dad who took us to Wal-Mart on Christmas Eve with a spending limit, I sometimes find it daunting just trying to figure out what I really want, let alone figure out gifts for others.  Since I’m feeling in the holiday spirit I’ve compiled a list of past presents that I’ve enjoyed as well as some things in various price ranges that I would be excited to unwrap on Christmas Day.  So, here is my Geek Girl’s Holiday Shopping Cheat Sheet For The Geek Guy.

Ninjabread Men Cookie Cutters - ($9.99) A friend got these for me last year.  They not only are completely badass, but work decently well.  The best part is decorating them of course.  I probably didn't make three that looked like The Three Ninjas.  Probably.

Darkwing Duck Dvd's - ($19.99) I got Volume 1 last year and as one of the kids who watched The Disney Afternoon every day after school.  Once I got this I sat in my Pj's on Saturdays and watch these cartoons eating cereal until I had to get Volume 2.

Star Wars Holiday Lights - ($29.99) Hang these bad boys year round.  Star Wars has no season.

Brookstone Automatic Wine Preserver - ($29.99) I don't usually finish a whole bottle of wine when I'm drinking by myself (Hey!  When you're a writer it's inspirational and not sad!) and this is a good way to milk my $5.99 bottle of Moscato from Aldi's.

The Ex – Unique Knife Holder - ($79.99) This Little Gem is for the cook with a sense of humor.  Not reccomended for knife throwing target practice.   Knives included!

Margaritaville Drink Mixer - ($299.99) I just think that this thing is awesome.  It's on the very high end of the price range but I would use it all the time because I host a lot of parties.  Definately a collaborate to buy for someone or a serious personal splurge if you have a bunch of gift cards to use.
