The first images from parts two and three of the Hobbit movie trilogy have hit the internet.

While the first movie of The Hobbit trilogy has yet to open in the United States ("The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey", December 14, 2012), images from parts two and three have already started surfacing.

The first Hobbit sequel, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" is set for US theaters on December 13, 3013. In the first image from the movie, we see Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) doing his best Scrooge McDuck, presumably in Smaug's (Benedict Cumberbatch) lair.

The final movie in the triology, "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" will be in US theaters on July 18, 2014. The third movie is believed to venture beyond what was in the original Hobbit book and take material from various appendices and notes. From the image released for this film we spot the Elf Legolas (Orlando Bloom), who was in the Lord of the Rings books and movies, but not in the original Hobbit story. He is seen here with Laketown warrior Bard the Bowman (Luke Evans).
