If there's an apocalypse before I can see this movie, I'm gonna kill those fucking Mayans (again.)

Well, clearly you missed the part where Idris Elba said that we are cancelling the apocalypse.

All in all, I am very intrigued by this movie, the trailer looks good and I will definitely see it. Plus Guillermo del Toro, Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, and Ron Perlman with giant monsters and giant robots?! That's gold Jerry, gold!

Got to love the fact that Del Toro actually asked Valve to use Glados. 8)

I'm a little tired of the current trailer style. Still, looks okay. I'm still not feeling the mecha though.

Let's combine Transformers and Godzilla and Battleship and Avatar. Seems like a tired mash up. More like an excuse to sell toys and a video game.

Except this is just a movie, made by Guillermo Del Toro who has always made his movies with nothing but passion and a sincere hope to entertain people with his end product.

Yeah this. Less of a mash up and more of a blown up movie with enough talent behind it to see it.

Apparently Charlie Day is in the movie in a big role as well. Should be interesting to see him not being "Charlie" from It's always sunny.

Pacific Rim Trailer

The first trailer to Guillermo del Toro's Kaiju/Mecha slugfest is here! SUIT UP!

Pacific Rim will hit American theaters on July 11, 2013 due to star Idris Elba declaring the Mayan Apocalypse has been canceled due to the epicness of this film and his gravitas.

Ron Perlman is in this isn't he? It's the only thing to make this even more perfect.
