There have been many epic comic moments sprinkled across this year. Which one will rule, MOMENT OF THE YEAR?!

The nominations for this category were cast from previous winners from Moment of the Week. Which moment shall rule them all? Only you can decide!! Come the second day of the new year, January 2nd, you will know which comic moment reigned supreme over any other in 2012. For it will be.. THE MOMENT OF THE YEAR!!! Now the nominees are: Moment of the Year- 2012

Fantastic Four #604 was without a doubt the biggest "Holy Shit" :shock:

moment of the year.

However since I don't recognize this voting software I'm calling bullshit on this right now, the fix is clearly in.

I call bullshit on this poll. I have a sneaking suspicion that Uncanny X-Force 35 will provide moments awesome enough to make a few additions.

Franklin Richards makes Galactus his herald.

This combined with Nathaniel's speech ('look at the life you created') and the ending narration ('if we live there is hope, and if we hope there is tomorrow. And if tomorrow, then...Forever')...made this the best comic of my year. Certainly the best comic I've read since 'Whatever Happened to the Cape Crusader?'

Exactly so we don't know that. So how do we know to know?! We don't. So until then I won't put it up.. until next year when I do best of 2013 nominations.

Seems like this should be two different polls.

Most Significant Moment: FF 604.

Most badass Moment: Teleported Shark.

Maybe a third? Most Actually Significant Moment (not in a book per se): Cancellation of Hellblazer

and since the net has spoiled ASM#700..Why doesn't that show up on the poll?

Due to respect from Mr. Slott and the fact the moment hasn't won Moment of the Week, it's not in the poll. That's the whole point to this poll all these nominations were previous winners from Moment of the Week. If you have anyone to blame or reason why other moments were neglected well, either they were too small or they didn't win.

But don't worry, ANOTHER poll will be started shortly.
