The PC version of GTA V has been listed for preorder on the French version of Amazon.com.
Source: Amazon France Amazon.fr, the French version of Amazon.com, has listed a PC version of Grand Theft Auto V for preorder on its website, despite no announcement from Rockstar about a PC version of the game. As previous installments of the game have been released on PC, this isn't a stretch, but PC gamers have been sweating it out as only a PS3 and XBOX 360 version have been discussed so far, making this the first semi-official confirmation that non-console gamers will get to play. The PC version is listed at EURO 49,99, as compared to EURO 54,00 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. The Outhouse is unsure what this translates to in real money, but we are pretty sure the difference is worth at least three blocks of smelly cheese, the most stable currency in France.
We sent Outhouse reporter ThanosCopter to France to interview Amazon.fr representatives because he is known for speaking both French and Greek, at least according to the craigslist advertisement we read when we hired him. Unfortunately, due to the language barrier and the fact that ThanosCopter is an impressive flying machine of terror, Amazon.fr executives mistakenly believed him to be an invading force and promptly surrendered, following national protocol. We are working on straightening matters out, but for the past several hours, ThanosCopter has been dressing like Napoleon, ending all of his sentences with French phrases such as "wee wee," "poo poo," and "haw haw," and trying to enact a massive discount on the website for the sale of French ticklers.
We'll keep you posted as the situation develops.
