Fallen Angel artist J.K. Woodward has put together a benefit auction to help out Peter David and his family with medical expenses.
Source: Peter David Auction Well, I'm sure you're all aware that we gave you plenty of perfectly good and completely serious reasons not to help Peter David, who suffered a stroke late last year and has been recovering since. Against our advisement, many of you wanted to help a man who has provided us with decades of entertainment with his books and comics. Well, we're not saying we understand this "compassion" or "appreciation," but we might as well tell you how you can help out again, since you seem determined to do it anyway.
J.K. Woodward, artist on David's Fallen Angel series at IDW, has put together an auction to raise money for David. Woodward had the cooperation of IDW editor in chief Chris Ryall and Marvel's X-Editor Nick Lowe, and there are a lot of cool items up for auction, including a very cool Hulk cover by our buddy Liam Sharp. Todd Nuack, David Yardin, and Jamal Igle are just some of the other artists whose work you can buy. In addition, IDW has arranged to offer a complete set of Fallen Angel in six trade paperbacks.
Check out the full list here at Woodward's site. The auction goes live tomorrow, and we'll send out a Tweet and Facebook update to make sure you remember. And if original art is a little two pricey for you, you can always buy some of PAD's books or use the donate button here.
