Win Some Axe Cop Swag or a Ridiculous Wacom Tablet in this Contest from the Makers of Manga Studio

To celebrate the launch of Manga Studio 5, Smith Micro is giving away some cool stuff. You can win it!

When Joe Micro, the president of Smith Micro, contacted us to ask us to promote the company's Manga Studio 5 launch contest, this reporter was hardly surprised. I mean, sure, what respectable company wouldn't want to partner with The Outhouse, a name that's synonymous with serious, accurate, and respectful comic book and geek news coverage? It's a perfect match, and we were happy to oblige.

Manga (literal translation: Excited Pants Lizard) is a form of Japanese pornography that is popular with quiet girls who have Tumblr accounts and wear wool hats with cartoon animal ears build into them, but Manga Studio actually does a whole lot more than that. The software can be used to create real comics as well, and it can handle the workflow from pencils to lettering, all in a user-friendly and efficient way. And I'm not just saying that so they'll let me play with an advance review copy.

In any case, longtime users of the program are very excited for the release of Manga Studio 5. Manga Studio 4 came out way back in 2007, and while that's a full decade newer than Ain't It Cool News' web design, it's still forever ago in internet time. To celebrate the release, Smith Micro is giving away 25 limited edition signed prints from Axe Cop creator Ethan Nicolle. Axe Cop is pretty popular around these parts, so I imagine lots of you would be interested in that, even if it doesn't feature, to the best of our knowledge, any panty shots of demure Asian teens.

They're also giving away a ridiculous Wacom tablet that has a screen you can draw on. That's some high-tech, future stuff right there. It's how perverts imagined us future folk would be creating Japanese schoolgirl fantasies back in the 1950s. It's really a pretty awesome prize.

So if you're interested in any of this stuff, check out the contest page here. The contest ends on February 28, and you can buy a copy of Manga Studio here today.
