Despite views on Liefeld's writing this title should get props just for Bennett's art ! He really pulls out the stops :smt023

They have been taking full advantage of the "Savage" part of the title and making every issue one lengthy fight in addition to teasing the mysteries of Carter and his scrolls ! :lol:

I flip through this every month. The art is fantastic. Just wish Bennet was moved onto a good book.

How has this book not been cancelled? I feel like it's all circled back to the early 90's...when no one had a clue about how to write a good Hawkman book. My apologies to fans of Hawkworld, but I hated it. It can't...absolutely cannot be that difficult to write a solid Hawkman book. Christ, Aquaman has one. Yes, Aquaman. Arghh...

Hawkman had a good one before it was relaunched as Hawkgirl following Infinite Crisis..

I should have mentioned that it took over a decade until Geoff Johns Managed to fix him in JSA and the series you mentioned. Then Jim Starlin came along and managed to undo just about everything. Gag.
