You know, usually I try to stay upbeat about these sorts of things, especially if everyone else in the thread has been positive, as is the case here.

But man is that some hideous art. I mean, that's just painful to look at.

this is looking good. :shock:

I'm glad steve rogers is running things and not steve rogers as captain america.

It makes sense to have a solider and not a superhero in charge of things..

Oh I will be giving it a try too and I am looking forward to seeing what Bendis does with a more classic Avenger's line-up.

That being said, though, I don't think that Romita can draw any of these characters well at all. I think Steve looks both way too young and way too skinny.

I'm sold on the JRJR art, and on Steve Rogers, and on the inclusion of the Young Avengers.



I'm less enthused about the idea of young hero types killing the various versions of Kang the Conqueror. Heinberg set a dangerous precedent :)
