Johns is now tackling domestic terrorism in GL

Still can't get over how stupid it was that a Muslim car thief just happened to steal a car packed with explosives, get sent to Guantanamo as a terrorist and then got a GL ring for his efforts.

God, that's stupid.

But GL has usually been plagued by stupid stories. Way back, Gil Kane admitted that he was embarrassed by the stupidity of the GL stories that he illustrated.

I don't know exactly how I'm feeling about this new GL. It was a little farfetched to me. Just go ahead and go back to Hal and Sinestro.

Yeah, I read the first few issues and I liked it when Sinestro was sharing the spotlight with Hal. I lost interest when I heard they were changing the star of the book.

Well, fieldy forgot to mention the part about how the new GL is also a street racer whose brother apparently wrecked and was left in a coma, which the new GL blames himself for. :roll:

actually Ive enjoyed this character as he new Green Lantern, it will be soon over, and Hal can get back to being Green Lantern,but, its a nice little spanner thrown into the mix, a Muslim Green Lantern, protecting the Earth, and why not ? he Might even do his job properly instead of the 4 Yanks that are currently doing such a BS job of it at the moment,
Oh, yeah before I forget, Sinestro as a green Lantern was cool also,,,,,,,,,,,
