There's a lot of indy stuff higher on the list, but it's possible he lost a couple of lists due to the changeovers on here and the computer issues he had, plus the sheer volume of lists he received.

Quasar at three points -- WTF? It was number three on my list so it should at least have 8 points. Something is wrong here. :?

I never read Power Company, but I liked Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E.

It's entirely possible some addition on Bubba's part was off before he sent me the list. He might have meant to give it 8 points for a third place vote and instead gave it 3 points for an 8th place vote and no one else had it on their list. His computer died over the weekend though, so I don't know when or if he'll be able to double check.

Lo siento.

My posts for RULK, Fables, and Peter David's Hulk are pretty awesome and fairly verbose, but once I realized I had to do all these, I stopped being so wordy until we get higher on the list. Otherwise I'd be spending too long getting these done.

It's a ridiculously huge series. 20+ trades at 300 pages each. I've only read up to v.5.

That's a lot of reading. I doubt I'll ever read it, even though it seems like something I might enjoy.

So tomorrow we got Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans, a book that doesn't belong on the list but got nominated and allowed me to rant (though not the one you guys are thinking, as I actually enjoyed this book), a three way tie, a couple of foreign books, and two books that are way way way better than they have any right to be.

Its not a big deal. I do realize that stuff happens.

It just surprised me to see it with only three points.

Manhunter - Never read it but Ostrander is a great underrated writer.

All New Atom - I tried it and it never really clicked with me.

Groo - A buddy of mine when I was a kid loved Groo. I always thought it was fun.

Superman Busiek - Yeah about Busiek and the DCU? I was a little wrong. His Superman with Pacheo was fun.

What do people have against Black Hole? :? That was a great story.
The witness said Mr Brown then called out to Ms Hay's adult daughter: "Look at this, I'm tittie-f***ing your mother!".

Night Force - I wanted to like it (Marv & Gene) but never got into it.

Quasar - Loved every issue (even the later ones with the fugly art.

Power Company - Looking back, I'm not sure why I bought it.

Stars & S.T.R.I.P.E. - Took me by surprise with the first issue. Very under-rated.

Manhunter - The late 80's had so much magic, and this book had it in spades. Loved it!

All-New Atom - Some cute stuff but it looked doom the moment it came out so I never really loved the book (even tho I loved the characters introduced in it).

Groo - I was a big Groo fan for a long time but then I just stopped, not sure why.

Busiek's Superman - Loved it all and sad that it been forgotten. Oh, and can never forget that Krypto issue.

Lone Wolf & Cub - This was on my short list. Absolutely beautiful stuff.

Sgt. Rock - I still have no idea why Sgt Fury got all the fans. Kanigher & Kubert created pure magic.

Black Hole - Never read it.
