Marvel announced a new Ghost Rider ongoing spinning out of Fear Itself at the Fear Itself panel at C2E2 today!

Starting in a special 0.1 issue in June, Rob Williams and Matthew Clark will be creating a new ongoing series starring Ghost Rider - and it's not Johnny Blaze OR Danny Ketch! Here's the details:

FEAR ITSELF strikes the Marvel Universe and if there is one hero in the Marvel Universe who knows anything about Fear – it's Ghost Rider. But the wielder of the Spirit of Vengeance is not who you think it is. Last time we met a new Ghost Rider, it was Danny Ketch and he turned the Marvel Universe on its head. So just what do rising star scribe Rob Williams and newly-Marvel-Exclusive artist Matthew Clark have planned for the Ghost Rider mythos...and what does it mean for FEAR ITSELF?

The answers begin in June's Ghost Rider #0.1 (followed by Ghost Rider #1 in July) as Johnny Blaze finds out he may be able to free himself of the it's curse. But if Johnny isn't be wielding the mantle...who is? Can anyone else control Earth's most power supernatural weapon of mass destruction?

I love Ghost Rider!

Rob Williams' Shadowland one-shot was decent, so I'm looking forward to this, it probably won't be as good as Jason Aaron's run, but I imagine it will still be solid.

If you're relaunching a series, you should do it with a well-known writer IMO, then let someone like this Williams guy take over after issue 12 or something.

Love me some Ghost Rider.
I don't know the writer.
I have an "eh" response to the artist.

I follow creators, not characters, so despite my love for Flame Head, until I hear some really shining reviews about this, it will remain off my pull.
