Zechs interviews Amazing Spider-Man writer Dan Slott. NUFF SAID!!
For those who know me, this interview was a long time coming. The history between Dan Slott and myself is legendary. The one most memorable being from this very site when,I made a thread to decry Slott for removing the original Hobgoblin and replacing him with another. The ante was upped further when Slott himself showed up to even heighten a possible future meeting between the two of us. Then at C2E2 2012, the confrontation almost two years in the making happened: I was given the chance by Marvel to interview Dan Slott.
Being a person of noble quality, I didn't want to put Mr. Slott in any sort of charade or ruse. I wanted him to know who was interviewing him right off the bat. Little did I know, Slott was one step ahead of me, and knew instantly who I was. This two part interview begins with that very revelation. So here it is. The best thing to come out C2E2 2012. Dan Slott. Zechs. THE INTERVIEW:
I just want to again thank Mr. Slott for interview and the seventeen minutes of interview time he gave me. I never did a live interview before (I've done one via e-mails), so this was my very first. I was going to just write the transcript out, but the way this turned out. I had to post the video. I hope you all enjoy it as I did.

I can't say it. It's too horrible. Zechs...is...not...wrong...

And yet what could I possibly write to showcase what Slott was doing throughout the interview to fullest detail? It's only less than seventeen minutes of your life. It's me. It's Dan Slott. Doesn't that warrant to watch this by itself?

It was alright for his first time on camera, I guess. It was very awkward, though.
Could definitely tell Zechs was nervous as shit, and some of those early questions were very "Dear Mr. Slott" letter column type stuff.
Pretty cool though, considering the Zechs/Slott stuff on here in the past. Slott always comes off better in podcasts and interviews and stuff than he actually does in the comics he writes. He seems very likeable. But outside of She Hulk and The Thing, and maybe a few other things, I'm just not a fan at all.. certainly not of his Spider-Man, overall.

Tthat was my decision. As some of you guys are aware, I have hearing issues so I always ask that we get transcripts of interviews. However, this one would lose so much in the transcription that we decided to post it as a video, which Royal gets a lot of credit for setting up.

This was my first interview and then I get blindsided by the fact Slott knows who I am. Yeah.. so was nervous like heck due to all that. Though I was better composed then being an even worse wreck. I just wanted a normal interview and ask him questions I had. Yeah they come off exactly that. But that's what I am.. a fan. Slott's behind me now isn't he and going to post saying oh that quote is a keeper?
