i'd actually say LSU and Auburn are about equal in the run game. and while both QBs are pedestrian at best, i'd say LSU has an advantage over Auburn in the passing game, simply because they actually have legitimate SEC receivers. between Holliday, Tolliver, Byrd, Lafell, and whatever other track star with hands they can throw out there, they're worlds better than Auburn's bunch of slaps. kicking game and home field keeps it close, but i agree with your score: LSu by 6 in a low-scoring slugfest that both teams probably will need at least two weeks to recover from physically.

and yeah, our offense SUCKS. our defense is good enough to let us hang around every week, but if we don't change something in our offensive game plan, we my be dropping right back to 3-9. :cry:

I hope Auburn plays like that against Alabama this year. The best game last week was played on a Friday -- Kansas vs. South Florida -- that was exciting.

Yeah, I caught the last quarter of it after coming home that night. My memory regarding the time frame is a little fuzzy but I seem to remember it being really entertaining.

I said it last week, and I'll say it again.. Tressel needs to change up his offensive gameplan. He's been far too conservative. There's no sense of any fire on the offense anymore.

It's just horrible playcalling. I don't know if it's that the coaching staff just doesn't have confidence in Boeckman, or complete confidence in Pryor just yet or what.. but we have good enough WR's to air it out more often. But I have NO clue what they're doing on the ground.

I like Boom Herron, but Brandon Saine should be the top back right now behind Beanie. I don't understand Tressel's love affair with Herron. Saine has proven himself much more than Boom has.
