At the end of Dark Nights: Metal #6 it was revealed that during the battle against Barbatos, Tenth Metal energies had been released throughout the DC Universe. In addition, the Source Wall itself had been breached and whatever has been held at bay behind it for eons presumably now has a path right into the DCU.
Following the battle Carter Hall described visions he had experienced during his time at The World Forge. Visions of Atlantis of rising, the formation of the new Dark Stars, the Flash War and a Dark Pantheon.

Stephen Segovia did another top-notch job on the art for this issue as did Fajardo with the colors. The Cheetah plot seemed to meander until Robinson brought it back around and revealed how it tied in to the overall story. Nice last page unexpected cameo/cliff-hanger too. :smt023
