These Decepticars provide the muscle

Source: First Look: Bumblebee unveils two new Decepticon muscle cars

The next installment in the Transformers film franchise is a prequel to the previous films, focusing on the popular character Bumblebee. The film is intended to be sort of a reset for the franchise with a story smaller in scope than past movies. Still, it won't just be a story about a girl and her 'bot, there will be bad guys (read: Decepticons) involved.

Entertainment Weekly revealed the two main villains who will be after our hero, and these muscle cars look a bit less G1 then Bumblebee:

The Decepticon Shatter has an alt form of a cherry-red Plymouth Satellite. She will be voiced by Angela Bassett. As far as we know, there isn't a Shatter character in previous Transformers lore.

Shatter's fellow tracker is Dropkick, who has an alt form of a blue AMC Javelin. Dropkick is voiced by Justin Theroux. There was a previous Transformer named Dropkick, which appeared in the live-action movie era as a series of drones and mostly showed up in games. The drone trucks from the G1 cartoon were retroactively named Dropkick.

There is another villain for the movie who is a flyer, as seen in the teaser trailer

We'll probably learn more about the movie next week, as the film will have a presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2018.

Bumblebee drives into theaters December 21, 2018.

I just want a movie about TF:Prime's Knock Out (and Breakdown), is that too much to ask for? They are Transformer's only canon gay couple.

A) I...don't remember that ever being a thing.
B) Have you not read the IDW comics?
