Too much vulgarity and too much politics apparently. Have they seen who the US President is? Why is it one standard for the rich and powerful and one for everybody else? Now I am not saying that they weren't right to fire him but there is a double standard.

Do they still have rubber rooms? Have you tried booking one with your leather nuns? It could be a fun weekend!

The real reason I think he was fired is that companies are very sensitive to anything controversial. This isn't a new phenomenon. Remember back in the 50s when it was reported that Monroe had done nude modeling. It was the scandal of Hollywood. But she was broke and needed the money. So disaster was adverted. Then in the Eighties, the Material Girl 'Madonna' did a commercial for Pepsi. They gave her millions of dollars. Then she released her video for Like A Prayer with burning crucifixes, a black Jesus and Pepsi freaked, dropped her but true to her name, she got to keep the money. Same with DC just recently and the Bat-dick controversy. Now nobody got fired but DC went into damage control over it, quickly yanking it and DiDio commenting he wished it had never happened.

If you work for Disney don't talk about eating kids. Just ask James Gunn.

No staying power IMO. And try a worse grade of yanking material next time, Dan. Don't use a picture of Gal Gadot next time...

Exactly. Don't talk about it. Write it into your next screenplay for a Disney animated kids movie. And be sure to put in a song about it.

Sure the Bat-dick controversy might have been a bad look for DC but it did help DC overall with their sales which improved a little over the previous month and the infamous Batman dong issue rising to fifth spot on the sales chart in September.

Disney is the rich and powerful. It also takes a heck of a lot more to remove a President than a random Corporate employee.

Disney allows many of its employees to speak their mind. They just have to be civil about it.
