In this case. Yeah. The actor had no former training in martial arts or dancing.

The fact he didn't get injured is nothing short of a miracle.

Season 2 was a definite improvement on season 1. The fights looked better, no boring boardroom meetings, better pacing with the less episodes, and they smartly made the story as much about Colleen as Danny. The shows biggest weakness is how wooden Finn Jones is and his complete lack of emotions. Obviously the people who worked on the show knew this and made all the supporting cast have huge roles.

Odd timing with the cancellation, with Daredevil season 3 a week away and people only having a month to have watched Iron Fist season 2. I hope this just paves the way for Daughters of the Dragon.

I have nothing to add except Iron Fist is one of those characters that only works if you commit to the character's inherent goofiness. Ditching the costume and going with a muted 'iron fist' effect to make him more grounded is counter-productive.

It would have been an awesome contrast to the rest of The Defenders.

Have Danny talk all Zen like, calm and collected, and Luke Cage is like "Is this crazy white boy for real?"

Finn Jones got better but regressed. Jessica Henwick was better but not great either. The rest of the supporting characters (Ward, Joy and Davos) were all terrible and poorly acted. It was sad because Colleen and Misty couldn't carry the show together.

I'm really hoping they carry Mary Walker/Typhoid Mary over to another show. I think she'd be an awesome villain in either DD or Punisher.
