So I guess there was a point to revisiting the clone saga after all.

Cool.

I still want a return of Ben Reilly, though.

Be patient. Maybe he will show up. Seeing Kaine though does make it tempting. But he's still isn't the one I so hunger to appear in Spidey books the most.

Every time I consider getting back into Spider-Man, something like this comes along to let me know that dropping the book was a good decision.

Ah, see every time I hear about the Clone Saga, it makes me glad I didn't get back into comics until 3 years ago or so.

All I know about CS is Ben and that Norman was behind it because of editorial edicts (or something).

Oh God why?

Why revisit this dark and crappy Spider-Man period?

Why? As Joe Q said "as much hate as that storyline got, its still the top selling spider-man event ever. no event has been able to come close"

The Clone Saga was good it was just taken too far, if they would not have done the whole Peter is Ben and Ben is Peter bit it would have been more well received.

I had no problem with Ben Reily as Scarlet Spider, I just didn't want him as Spider-man.

Has there ever been a good clone story other than Blade Runner?
