ImageMarvel is pleased to announce Ultimate Comics X #1 has sold out atDiamond (though copies may still be available at retail level) and willreturn with Ultimate Comics X #1 Second Printing Variant!

Comics legend Jeph Loeb and superstar artist Arthur Adams finally answer the biggest question in the Ultimate Universe: “Who—or what—is Ultimate X?” In the wake of the disastrous Ultimatum Wave, a new player in the Ultimate Universe will emerge and change everything! Ultimate Comics X #1 Second Printing Variant features the interior art of Arthur Adams on the Cover!

Ultimate Comics X #1 has critics raving:

“This is the archetypical comic story that some readers will one day point back to and say, ‘That was the single greatest issue I ever read.’…Adams turns in phenomenally detailed yet buoyantly composed art as only Arthur Adams can deliver it”- Doug Zawisza, ComicBookResources.Com

“The book lives up to its opening promise of a more hopeful and optimistic story, providing a very human character portrait of a new Ultimate character”—Dave Wallace, ComicsBulletin.Com

“This is Loeb at the top of his game”—Lee Newman, BrokenFrontier.Com

“I enjoyed it…It’s cool to see an alternate universe in which anything can happen and now it finally does.”-- Chad Derdowski, Mania.Com

Marvel urges retailers to check their orders on Ultimate Comics X as the series’ very first issue has sold out and continues to draw praise from all corners! With Wolverine dead, Captain America on the run, and the Fantastic Four disbanded, will this mysterious Ultimate X unite the remaining heroes? Does anyone really consider places like CBR or BF to be bastions of independent thought or impartial reviewing?

Most of their reviews read like requests for exclusive interviews.

I would, at the very least, give Bendis a handjob for some exclusive interviews. And that's not even taking into consideration what Starlord would do. Just sayin'.

At least Punchy has been upfront about not trying to make the OH a credible comics news site, and more an attention whoring forum site.

You don't see that kind of honesty in the other outlets.
