When Tony and I would talk OTR, we'd use [square brackets] and I was debating going through the old transcripts to see if I could make a kind of 'blooper reel' out of those. Some of those are funnier than the columns.

Wasn't the Flintstones groundbreaking in that it had the first TV couple (Fred and Wilma) to share a bed, thereby encouraging couples to do the same? If so, Keb, your comparison doesn't work. :?

I don't know, I do remember them having separate beds in some episodes.
