Music Video Week in Review 4/22/12 - Rihanna, Lady Antebellum & more!

Postby LOLtron » Mon Apr 30, 2012 9:07 am

Nightfly lists his preferred picks among last week's newly released music videos.

Chasing The Matrix:
Nightfly's Music Video Week in Review  (week of 4/22/12)

In this week's installment Country music is well represented as CMT delivered a truckload of new music over the weekend. Plus lots of new videos were released overall.

Before jumping into the first few bonus vids, I wanted to share a link to this nearly two-hour long [Runtime 1.55.25] concert I discovered via The Smithsonian. Embassy Jazz Day: An International Jazz Day Celebration came out last Tuesday (4/24) and it's certainly a tasty treat for live jazz fans.

The third Teenage Rock Diary entry from teen rockers Cherri Bomb is from Rena Lovelis and, safe to say, is the most emotional from any member yet.
Cherri Bomb: Teenage Rock Diaries - Rena - Entry #1  [Runtime 3.24]

In Rihanna's The Road To 'Talk That Talk' (Part 1) we see the last day of the North American leg of her Loud tour, as well as a peek inside the process of creating Talk That Talk for the fans. It runs roughly nineteen minutes.

And last but not least of these opening clips is this short trailer promoting Tom Morello's upcoming global tour, check it out (below).
Tom Morello: The Nightwatchman World Wide Rebel Tour  [Runtime 0.40]

* Morello fans should visit my web tv column where you'll find his weekly report, The Nightwatchman Speaks.

GetGlue members who're also The Used fans should check-in here to unlock a new sticker in support of their upcoming tour. And I only today (4/30) discovered there's a "Honestly" sticker available from Hot Chelle Rae's page here, and, one for the debut of The Wanted's special edition EP here.

It begins  (in alphabetical order, except for the winners)....

The following tracks are in my bonus section because I felt they just didn't quite fit in with the rest.
